Dedicated admirers! By dressing up like the cast of the Netflix documentary Tiger King, Sylvester Stallone and his family showed their unbridled devotion to the show.
A photo of the 73-year-old Rocky actor, his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone, and their three daughters dressed as characters from Tiger King was posted to Instagram by the veteran actor. Jeff Lowe was Sylvester’s costume, and Carole Baskin was Jennifer’s. Their children, Sophia (23), Sistine (21), and Scarlet (17), acted out various roles: Sophia as Joe Exotic, Sistine as Exotic’s spouse John Finlay, and Scarlet as zookeeper Erik Cowie.
Featuring Sistine’s TikTok, the renowned family flaunted their impeccable Tiger King ensembles to Breland’s “My Truck” in the Instagram photo. A family portrait of the Stallones accompanied the TikTok video.
People are going crazy for TIGER KING! “@jenniferflavinstallone @sistinestallone @sophiastallone @scarletstallone,” he captioned the Instagram image on Tuesday, March 31. Joe requires independence and a comedy show. #CarolynsTigers became sick after eating her.
In a new documentary series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, premieres on March 20 on Netflix. The true-crime show, which is co-produced by Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin, follows Joseph Maldonado-Passage, better known as Exotic, as he becomes engaged in a murder-for-hire plot due to his involvement in the big cat breeding industry.
Many famous people, including Sylvester, have spoken about how much they adore Tiger King. The Hollywood version of the story had a friendly rivalry between Dax Shepard and Edward Norton over who would portray the role of Exotic.
Shepard, 45, tweeted on March 25 that Hollywood would be “broken” if he was not chosen as Joe Exotic in the eventual biography. After that, he reposted a fan’s tweet including a Photoshopped photo in which Shepard’s face was superimposed on Exotic’s. “This is a great first step,” the Parenthood actor said in response.
As for Shepard’s post, Norton responded with some reasons why the “Armchair Expert” presenter wouldn’t be a good fit for the role of Exotic. Just a moment, buddy. ‘You’re way too young and buff and you know it,’ the 50-year-old Fight Club star tweeted on March 26. You could still manage to pull off Maldonado, in fact. That sounds like a lot of fun.
This, Shepard told Norton, “I’ll go ‘Machinest.'”
Netflix now has Tiger King available for streaming.
